Counter-Strike: Global Offensive launching with zombie mod

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is treading a well-worn path in the shooter genre, with the announcement of a zombie mod for the game. Yes, if you haven't gotten your fill of knocking off zombies by the truckload yet, you'll be able to take down some undead when CS:GO launches .

The Counter-Strike blog gives word that Valve has been working with the modders at Plaguefest to produce a mod for the game, and it will be ready in time for launch. It promises many more mods to come in the months ahead, too.

Obviously this news relates to the PC version, but the game is due for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this week too. If you grab it through the PSN Play promotion and have a PlayStation Plus membership, you can get a 20% discount.
